Dr. Kirk Bowman, Professor, Regents' Entrepreneur, and Jon R. Wilcox Term Chair in Soccer and Global Politics. Winner of the 2007 University System of Georgia Board of Regents Teacher of the Year, and the 2008 Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching Georgia Professor of the Year, Dr. Bowman has been taking students to Latin America since 1999. Dr. Bowman is Professor in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This will be his eighth program to Argentina. His research foci include Latin American politics, comparative development, and soccer and global politics.
Dr. Alberto Fuentes, Assistant Professor in International Affairs and City and Regional Planning, Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Fuentes is an expert on global development and innovation in Latin America. Ph.D. MIT.
Dr. John McIntyre, Professor in the GA Tech Scheller College of Business and Director of the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) will assist to organize the Management courses, but not attend in country.
Dr. Felipe Arocena, professor of sociology at the University of Uruguay, will be featured in Montevideo.
Many guest lecturers and speakers in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.
